The Green House

We like everyone else in the country have been fighting the winter this last week. Temperatures in my section of New Mexico dropped to an unheard of -9 degrees below zero..prior to the influx of cold and snow we did manage to get some work done on our green house project....Being aware of the storm was moving in we specifically stopped at the point where the next step would have been the installation of panels...we were projected to have 40 m.p.h. winds and decided that it was better to be safe than sorry and to cease construction until the weather cleared and the storm passed. The displayed photo's show 2 full days of work on this project with much left to do once the environment returns to normal. I am glad this time to have taken photo's while the construction was in progress...since it would be difficult to describe what we have accomplished so far. There is much left to do including fan installation, water run to the green house, shelving installed etc...this is not a small green house nor is it a small weekend project...the end result should be worth any wait. right now what you see is covered in ice and snow...

Stuff

I have managed to figure out how to load photo's to my firefox netbook since my home wireless problem is still not corrected---i am getting so used to doing my net business on my lifebook and netbook out in coffee houses however i may not remember what to do at home with a full size laptop.
The state of New Mexico ran out of natural gas and electricity during this winter storm...Yes that is what the officials are saying "we ran out"....my next project is the definite completion of the solar and wind power generating system for the house....our society is falling apart faster than i projected.....
Trust no government--state or federal for your survival...the price of dehydrated food is rising----Mountain House #10 cans have risen tremendously reducing me to purchasing a can a month at these prices. Coffee, chocolate, processed cereals, bread and corn products are all forecast to rise in price soon.....

I am thinking you are right Here in DFW we had a rolling black out and were asked to cut back on our use of natural gas. It shows just how much as a nation we are condition to accept it as incovenice when in truth it is something to come.

PS-- JJ and his big event at the stadium had unlimited electricity and gas.
If you have the money you can get what you want.
