A decent week--with high temperatures and dry, dry weather for any winter i have known...worried about the upcoming summer-- a worse drought for sure i believe is in store for New Mexico. A weekend of small, but personally necessary tasks.

We ordered new plants and tree's for the homestead---Strawberry bushes, tobacco plants and olive trees. I've really wanted us to try growing a Olive tree for quite some time--Olives, of course, can provide both fruit and oil towards home independence, as well as an accessory that can make plain survival type meals palatable. Strawberries speak for themselves as a treat and trade material. Both of these items we are going to try to work out of our greenhouse..and see if we can get them to produce for us...

Tobacco plants will be another first for us this year. We want to attempt to grow, cure, and process our own tobacco--the final step in freeing ourselves from tax and price oppression when it comes to cigarettes. These three items are all new to us and we are dealing with a complete unknown---

We are reveling in a Shameless marathon this weekend--renting all of the first season...a great show that groups who believe themselves to be Mothers for Jesus, or some such shit, must consider to be evidence of the downfall of our civilization---Shameless is intelligent, human and somehow awfully real..did i mention hysterically funny---if your skin is not too thin, or your mind too closed off---you'll love Shameless.

My friend David asked via the comment section where i got my copy of Will Smith's bag i wrote of in the last blog---Amazon. The bag is in and it is excellent---as long as the laptop you carry is not bigger than a netbook--great bag---- really enjoying it. 

I followed through finally on an easy acquisition. A cheap, red, laser pointer.  Not for retarded PowerPoint use at meetings--for blinding surveillance cameras--a laser directed onto the lens "Blooms" the picture...blinding it....weighs nothing and could be the item that saves my ass someday.

A reasonable week at work just passed. Reasonable weeks at work are in my experience, rare. A circumstance to be appreciated and i am trying to do so. 

I do believe that the Governmental Psychotic behavior on the economy is being radiated out and infecting the populace...It seems as if surrounding humans, even if they are of the non-informed, honey-boo-boo variety, are awaiting something...in the manner that a gazelle will look up from grazing, scanning the area, just as the lion makes the death leap towards it. 

The one interesting fact i acquired this week is that my people, the Irish, are included in the 12 known societies that are/were serious headhunters.  This fact, although probably known by many, had somehow escaped me...not only does this explain much to me about my relatives...makes much sense in so many ways...but is suddenly quite the subject of pride on my part............

I want to scream from the roof-tops---FOUND IT----the EDC bag carried by Will Smith in the film, I am Legend. On sale no less and now in route to me. I've been desiring this bag for years now..but it was always either i was not sure of the accuracy of the product or it was waaaay too expensive. At last i found it and at a reasonable price. I can barely wait for it to come in. I am going to strap it on and say-----

Stock photo's but excellent representations of my two reel to reel player recorders....fascinated by them i am---and enjoy the quality of music they provide.....I've seen a woman's t-shirt for sale on the web, it displays a large print of an audio cassette with a small caption that says--"if you know what this is, you are too old to date me."  

A province of assholes in India has a new jerk game they play which they call elephant taunting---when elephants are sighted peacefully passing through their territory---hundreds of these assholes run to out intercept them and actually enrage the elephants--causing them much distress, which these local turds think is funny. I hope everyone of these fuckers gets squashed like a bug...what a virus we humans are...

Hard to believe, but yet maybe not. A scientist is convinced that we can clone a Neanderthal and bring it to term in a modern female---they are searching for a willing female? 
Now it's hard to imagine a woman leaping on either of the two accurate Neanderthal physical examples posted here---but they marry serial killers in prison on death row--so i am sure there will be an excess of female applicants---I hope they realize that Neanderthal women had larger birth canals to handle the much larger Neanderthal baby skull---oops, that part might be tough---like trying to pass a bowling ball through a keyhole---but hey sis, you might get your own reality TV show out of it?

The Eternity Puzzle

It is and has been a cold week in Southern New Mexico--there can be nothing colder than the desert surprisingly...creates a deep, inside cold that is difficult to warm. 

I spent the week at work--submerged like a nuclear submarine on quiet running..doing and saying as little as possible. As if I was a colonial marine in stasis. This protocol worked extremely well-- creating the best week at work that i can remember. 

In the United States we enter the next stage of Internal mutually assured destruction cycle. The budget, deficit, and debt ceiling circus. It will be a strange circus with nothing but clowns fighting for a solution less, television sound bite. On the 15th of February, sometime close to 85 billion dollars in bills and interest payments come are due on that day--everything from medicare payments to Federal Employee salaries--The total government income on that day is 8.5 billion dollars?

Unfortunately the people of the United States are relying on mentally retarded Congressional representatives who send photo's of their penises to staffers----- to solve this problem. 

We need Bruce Willis and his team to fly the Space Shuttle into Washington DC and fix things........there is a greater chance of that than a solution. 

Dredd was EXCELLENT--true to the graphic novels--whereas-- the mega city and it's gangs were on a character basis equal to that of the Dredd---but Karl Jungen played Dredd spot on---5 stars for pizza and a movie night---after viewing Loopers and Dredd my hope meter for SF movies climbs again.....
